Deadwood & Devil’s Tower

Today was mostly uneventful all things considered. But we did get to see a few really amazing places.

Our first stop was a town called Deadwood. And (As my mom said) it looked like it had been frozen in time. All the buildings and signs and even roads were decorated to look like the Wild West. Even some of the food and merchandise seemed like it was from the 1800’s.

Our other pit stop was a place called Devil’s Tower. We don’t know exactly how it got there, but it looked like a giant, flat volcano.

And then, after our two pitstops, we continued on our drive to Yellowstone. The views the entire time were amazing. We passed through a valley that may have easily been one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.

I fell asleep shortly after that so I don’t remember much about the rest of the day, but the part I do remember was amazing.
